to air November 7 (I'm going to be on holiday! so I'll watch when I get back ) Anyone have a synopsis? From the previews---looks really good! Dyson denies Bo? Mayer is back. I guess the oracle is involved since we see Bo's Mom again?? Can't believe this season is half over!

I listened to the podcast with M. Lovretta. In it she says that this ep was shot as a presentation before the series was picked up. I'm interested to see if it will mesh well with what has gone on beforehand. And since I'm in the spoilers area...Did you see the pic of Dyson all chained up.....I'm thinking it has something to do with that chain Trick traded....and I want that ep to come up soon!!!! More shirtless guys please ;D

I hope it does. I'm glad this is the only time we will get "vampire" like fae. I'm tired of the vampire phase.

Okay, waited till today to blab about the episode.
WOW! Dyson tells Bo last time for some rumpy bumpy healing and next time she's on her own! :-O Wonder how long he's gonna hold to that declaration ....
Bo buys some info from a vampire named Sigfried about a possible lead on her mother. Hated the vamp, and terrible sounding Carmen music while he cooked dinner. Why is the vampire slicing red peppers while nuking a bag of blood anyways??? Does he like his blood spiced up? lol
The Fae who can make you do things (forgot what he's called) Creepy dude. Who does he work for and why is he silencing Sigfried for telling Bo some possible info about her past? Didn't he say something about "family business"? Does that mean Dark Fae family or something in relation to Bo, maybe???
Lauren, Lauren Lauren..... *sighs* well didn't see that little bit of info about her relationship with The Ash coming. Taking Bo to bed to distract her, bad move! Don't think she's gonna trust ya again after that Lauren. I like her even less now after that bonehead maneuver.
LouAnne, the Dark Fae in prison turns out to be the midwife who helped Bo's mother. So she knows something but won't say. Did she promise to keep quiet about it all to Bo's mom then??
Trick. Dude has some pull in the human world if he could get to LouAnne after her "execution" like that. Who IS this guy??? Trick definitely has a LOT of tricks up his sleeves! And what is up with all the gizmos he collects? He gave Bo a serious weapon to use. There is certainly more to his background than we have been told. I hope we get some of his (and Dyson's) background in the future.
Someone sent a Morag Fae assassin to knock off Bo for sticking her nose in the LouAnne case. Yup, she's asking the right questions alright. Some one is getting nervous about her getting close to answers about her past. The Morag needs a good dentist to see to those teeth btw lol
The mood of the episode was slightly darker I think, more serious too. Half way through the first season, it's getting better and more interesting to watch.

Love reading everyone's insights on this episode. I've watched it once and then re-watched a few key scenes (okay, just the opening one ) It felt like I was watching a different show! Not sure if I liked it or not, but it felt off--so I definitely see that this was the 'pilot'. The cast wasn't gellin'. Dyson and Bo were hot, but that little twinkle in Dyson's eye wasn't there and I think that just comes from an increased comfort level with cast mates. Loved Kenzi's hair (I think that's her real hair...so why cover it with dark wigs all the time!?) and her somewhat toned down character. In fact, it all seemed toned down a bit. Darker, less 'campy'. Less 'fun'. I enjoy the tone they've set in previous episodes, but sometimes it is There has to be a middle ground there somewhere. I loved Vex and am glad to hear he'll be back again in future episodes. What was with Anna Silk's makeup? She looked 'rough' and definitely less polished. Glad they glammed her up a bit. I'm not a Bo/Lauren shipper, so I can't see their scenes as anything but awkward. I see no chemistry. Looking forward to a new ep tonight!

I was really impressed at how this episode, being the first, did go well with the rest. I could see how it was a first meeting of the actors, too. Here's my thoughts. The Meh: - I kept getting distracted by Dyson and Kenzie's dramatic hairstyle changes. K H-R's hair was cropped short and K S's was really poofed! - I thought it was kind of odd that Bo would say at the end that she has no leads on her mom now. She has the oracle who told her that momsey is coming...so she can talk to her soon (probably in the finale) - I too felt that the actors, particularly K H-R didn't have their best game on. He was a bit inconsistent, particularly near the end of this ep with Vex and Bo. It was almost like he was afraid to yell too loud at them, and being Dyson, he's suppose to be the alpha male. I liked his gruffer side like with the Body Jumper back a few eps. The Good - I really liked Lauren. Especially when she said, "I've done nothing wrong." Good acting there, and it made me feel maybe she is a puppet of the Ash, worth feeling for, perhaps she has no choice. - loved the upset that Bo was feeling being betrayed. Good acting too, and very sad. -Really liked Vex. Happy to hear he'll come back. - The best part....the crumbling resolve of Dyson. He says no more. Then, all Bo has to do is say "seriously" and then well... the clothes just flew off by themselves ;D shirtless growling men, sigh ;D
