Just starting next week's thread!
So another Succubus surfaces. Should be interesting.

Summary
While investigating a baffling sex-related murder case, Bo comes into contact with Saskia, a strong, sensuous Succubus who has much to teach her.
Which sounds okay, but the one thing that bugs me a bit is that the name Saskia means protector of mankind... Odd name for a Succubus...

I've just watched and honestly found myself a bit distracted...perhaps it was the lack of Dyson? I don't know. I wasn't that invested in the original crimes nor the introduction of the other succubus. Although, I see that its the writers way of telling us more about Bo and her potential.
I did like the 'B' storyline with Trick and Kenzi, but Kenzi was verging on shrill and over the top yet again....I like it better when she reigns it in.
Bo/Kenzi friendship is becoming the true heart of the show and I enjoy their scenes together.
More Trick too!

Lost a really long post about the episode when you moved the thread Elvee but anyway...
In short,
Not thrilled with Saskia. She's a stereotypical succubus and that was disappointing to me...
Overall not as good as the previous two episodes I think, but the next one looks to be really interesting...

I think I share the same feelings as the two of you . The lack of Dyson was noticeable.... I liked the story, I thought it was a tight little ep. I liked Kenzie a bit better that you perhaps, Tera. Although there was some sex joke in the vic's apartment that made me cringe... I loved this line, "Trouble in the Shire?" that made me laugh out loud. Then, feel a bit ashamed that I thought it was funny Did you see the preview for next week. Oh yeah...... ;D ; - snicker

i think i liked this episode more than most... which surprised me as well, as michelle lovretta's episodes are not on my favourites list. things i liked: - bo's vulnerable/softer side. loved her scene with kenzi at the end where she want to hear about *her* adventures for once. also, when she hugs dyson, she almost looks like a little girl who wants him to shelter her from the big bad world, but she quickly catches herself, pushes him away (literally), and runs from the situation. - i liked the sweetness and awkwardness of bo and dyson in this episode. though there's not a lot of him, their interactions are meaningful and slightly intense. i thought bo's reflection on their relationship at the beginning was a little bit obvious, but the relationship seems to be taking a very realistic, natural course for once. i'm sure that will be shattered soon enough when truths start to surface... -though i must admit kris holden-ried is one of the main reasons i watch lost girl, i like that his dyson has been in the shadows for the last 2 episodes. it shows how bo's growing and becoming stronger on her own. - loved the trick and the sidekicks storyline. but why does the chicken lady know about the blood king? it seems like this is some big secret, but then some random fae knows and is blabbing about it? - dirty language this episode really pushed it, which i thought was great. the incredibly unsubtle sexual innuendos, were awesome. especially kenzi's: "wouldn't you rather be waxing mr. dyson's sword?", "honey, if i could give you the 6 inch all our problems would be solved", "tee hee hee: shaft..." and i think all those are in the first 5 minutes. even though i felt the actual stories were weak, and the episode did seem kind of "filler-ish" (which kind of sucks this late in the season), i really liked the character and relationship development. but that's just me!
